Puerto Mogan and its surroundings

This beautiful canarian village has become my home for a while. The amazing views and quiet settings of La Venecia de Canarias has given me a real boost of energy during this never-ending winter. Avoiding high season I managed to get the most of this wonderful island, including lonely walks on the hills and cliffs and meditation in the heart of nature. The journey starts for me in Maspalomas, on the south coast of Gran Canaria. I leave beautiful Dunas and take a bus to San Bartolome’ de Tirajana. From there it’s about 15km of amazing mountain walk towards La Cumbre to reach the highest peak of the island – Roque Nublo 1949m…and make it on time for the last bus back!
