Puerto Mogan and its surroundings

This beautiful canarian village has become my home for a while. The amazing views and quiet settings of La Venecia de Canarias has given me a real boost of energy during this never-ending winter. Avoiding high season I managed to get the most of this wonderful island, including lonely walks on the hills and cliffs and meditation in the heart of nature. I could fully enjoy the present moment with fantastic scenery, great local produce and friendly locals…let’s say it clearly, the biggest problem I could have was the sand in my hairs!

From there it’s about 15km of amazing mountain walk towards La Cumbre to reach the highest peak of the island – Roque Nublo 1949m…and make it on time for the last bus back!

The way I’ve chosen is however quite simple and enjoyable – just following the amazing coast. The way back is trough the desert.
